Participatory Communications Network develops tailor made communication trainings to suit the needs of the organisations.  The following are some of our communication trainings specialities;

  1. Communication for Development:  Participatory Communications Network  is one of the pioneers   of Communication for Development in Africa.  We  believe that for  development to  happen  we must go beyond merely passive  listeners  to an active  agency that  engages  in action, policy dialogue  and  influence. We  train development   practitioners  on the principles  of  communication for  development in order to increase  programme  impact and  bring sustainable  change.
  2. Documentation   of Best Practices; We train project managers and partners on best practices in  documentation, writing skills, photography, content gathering and  process reporting.
  3. Media  Presentation and  Public Speaking; We train top management staff on  media  speaking skills, writing press releases  and press relations.
  4. Photography and video skills;  We have  an in-house  photography and  video  curriculum for  novices. This skills kit is meant to equip the frontline staff and grantees with simple  yet vital skills.
  5. Community Media and Monitoring; PCN itself prides in deep rooted   community work. We train organisations on community media skills and media monitoring. We have just undertaken community media training on radio listening groups and community media organising.
